Coaldale Borough Tax Collector Catherine Papesh reminds borough residents the final day to make tax payments for 2009 is Dec. 31. Postmarks will be accepted.
The office will be closed from Thursday through Monday, Dec. 24-28. The tax collector will be open Tuesday through Thursday, Dec. 28-31, during regular hours to accept final payments.
The office will also be closed Jan. 1-4.
If taxpayers qualify for exonerations or exemptions, they shold return their signed and dated applications, along with proof of eligibility, so as to not be turned in as delinquent.
