Hit and run driver sought in Monroe

A hit and run driver is being sought in Monroe County. State police at Fern Ridge said the crash occurred about 6:55 p.m. on Dec. 7 along SR209 in Chestnuthill Township.

Troopers said Krisann Wean, 44, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2004 GMC Yukon northbound and negotiating a left hand curve when a southbound vehicle entered her lane of travel and collided into the front of the GMC with the front of the other vehicle. After impact the other driver fled southbound. Wean and her passenger, Nicole Wean, 11, same address, were not injured.

The hit and run vehicle is described as black in color, four door sedan with Florida license plate, possible with 101FXX. It has a handicap placard hanging from the rear view mirror and should have a hole in its front bumper. The driver was described as a while male, age 40-45, and slim build. His hair is gray with a crew style cut.
