Monroe business cited by LCE
The Sunset Inn, HCR 1, Ross Township, Saylorsburg, is facing Pa. Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement action as a result of violating the state's liquor laws.
State police at the LCE regional office in Wilkes-Barre said the business was cited for violations on Nov. 21 and 22 by permitting to be used on the inside of the licensed premises a loudspeaker ort smilar devive whereby the sound of music or other entertainment could be hears outside.
Officials said the charges will be brought before an admiistrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalites ranging from $50-1,000 for minor offenses and $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
