One-car crash nets moderate damages

Damages were moderate in a one-car crash Sunday at 2:30 p.m. on Terrace Drive in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, according to state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.

Police said Jenna L. Torres, 20, of Stroudsburg, was driving a 2008 Ford Focus and was negotiating a right-handed curve in the roadway when the car approached drifiting snow. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and went into a drainage ditch, striking several rocks with its undercarriage.

Torres was uninjured.
