Slatington woman faces assault charge

Slatington police report the arrest of Carol Williams, 50 Dowell St., Slatington, on a charge of simple assault.

Police said they responded to a harassment incident at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at that location, where the ind=cident turned into an assault of an officer resulting in the charge.
