Grinch stole the decorations

Published December 26. 2009 09:00AM

Dear Editor:

On Tuesday, Dec. 15,2009, my husband and I decorated the front of our home for Christmas in the 800 block of McArthur Road, Palmerton to surprise our grandaughter when she comes to our house. That same night when I got home, two reindeer and a santa in a sleigh were stolen.

They also were going to steal a tree, but must have been scared away by a car or something. We immediately took the rest of the decorations down. And this is not the first time things have stolen from my property. This has me so disgusted to think that we work hard to buy things for some lowlife, pathetic, good for nothing, dirtbag loser to steal it from us as though they are entitled to it or I owe them something.

This is just strange to me because these bums obviously don't care when things are stolen from them or they wouldn't steal from others. I really am disgusted at what is happening in this town and worse yet the world. Come on, what is going on? Where is the respect and humanity.

Thank God the good people still outnumber the bad people, because then we're all in trouble. If anyone reading this has any information about this , please let the Palmerton police know. Oh ,and next year, I'll be wrapping my decorations in barbed wire.
