Dodge Ram hits Dodge Ram

A Broadheadsville man was slightly hurt in a car crash Wednesday on Little Gap Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

Carl W. Carlson, 44, was hurt when he tried to pass two vehicles as he was driving his Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck east at 8:45 a.m. A Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck driven by Corey A. Scheckler, 21, of Lehighton, was slowing to turn left into a driveway. Carlson entered the oncoming lane as Scheckler was making the left turn and also entered the oncoming lane. The front passenger side of Carlson's truck struck the front driver's side of Scheckler's truck.

Both trucks continued into the north berm and came to rest facing east.

Carlson was slightly injured. He was taken to Palmerton Hospital for treatment.
