Pedestrian hurt in hit-run accident

Pocono Mountain Regional Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that happened at 8:47 p.m. Dec. 22 in Arrowhead Lakes, resulting in a pedestrian who was struck by the vehicle being injured.

Police said Nicholas Caruso of Arrowhead Lakes was transported to the Geisinger Medical Center after the accident.

Police said he was struck by a vehicle while walking on Oruno Drive in the development.
