Theft probed in Monroe County

State Police at Lehighton are investigating a theft that occurred over the weekend in Monroe County.

According to reports, an unknown actor(s) cut a screen out of an open window on a garage at 11 Emily Way, Polk Township, sometime between 9 p.m., Dec. 27, and 5 a.m., Dec. 28. The actor then crawled through the window and removed a 2002 Kawasaki Prairie ATV. They then pushed the ATV to the roadway and fled in an unknown direction.

The victim in the crime is Matthew D. Hageman, 33, of Kunkletown.
