Criminal mischief incident reported

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a criminal mischief incident that happened between 9 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday along Weir Lake Road in Polk Township.

The victim is Grace E. Mondrosch, 55, of Gilbert.

Police said someone damaged the steering wheel column (ignition area) of the victim's vehicle with a blunt object. The estimated damage is $300.
