Lehighton hosting youth wrestling tourney on Sunday

The Lehighton Area Booster Club Wrestling program will be hosting its First Annual "King off the Ridge" Tournament this Sunday, Jan. 3 at Lehighton High School.

Wrestlers from Lehighton, Palmerton, Northern Lehigh and Jim Thorpe will take part. Lehighton and Northern Lehigh are from the East Penn League while Palmerton and Jim Thorpe are from the Valley Elementary league.

There will be 17 weight classes ranging fron 46-pounds to 160-pounds.

Start time is set for 9:30 a.m. Food and refreshments will be available all day. All teams will wrestle twice with the decisive match going to the two teams with the best records.
