Man is drunk at bus terminal

Published December 31. 2009 01:02PM

Robert Richardson, 49, no address given, has been charged by state police at the Fogelsville barracks with resisting arrest, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct as a result of an incident at 8:15 p.m. Friday at the Charcoal Drive In/Bus Terminal, Lower Macungie Township.

Police said the man was denied entrance to a bus due to his drunkenness and possession of open containers of an alcohol beverage, after which time he became irate and started yelling obscenities at employees while pounding on the windows of the terminal. When officers arrived at the scene to take Richardson into custody, police said he resisted arrest.
