Reward offered for information on bank robbery

Monroe County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in a bank robbery investigation. M&T Bank, North Ninth Street, Stroud Township, Monroe County, was robbed at approximately at 3:11 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21. The suspect is a black male, approximately six feet tall with a slim build. He was wearing a dark colored leather jacket and black knit cap and black pants.

Stroud Area Regional Police Department is asking the public's assistance. Anyone with information on this "Crime of the Week" or any other serious crime or wanted person, should call Monroe County Crime Stoppers at 1 (866) 370-1518. Callers could be eligible for cash rewards and may remain anonymous.
