Rig is sideswiped along Interstate 78
State police at the Fogelsville barracks are investigtaing a hit-and-run incident whereby a tractor trailer was sideswiped on Interstate 78 in Weisenberg Township. The incident happened at 4:32 p.m. Thursday.
Police said Timothy S, Quimby, 42, of Manchester, Pa., was driving the 2009 Kenworth rig westbound when a white construction van attempted to pass the tractor trailer and sideswiped it on the left side. The van continued westbound without stopping.
