Son is arrested for taking vehicle

David Joseph Frantz Jr., 27, of Kunkletown, was charged by state police at the Lehighton barracks with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after he reportedly took his father's truck on Friday at 11:39 p.m.

Police said David Frantz Sr., 46, of Kunkletown, reported his son took his Ford Ranger without permission and drove to Horseshoe Drive in Polk Township where he proceeded to load scrap metal into the vehicle.

The son was arrested and housed in the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville.
