Woman is charged with retail theft

Loriann Graham, 38, of Newfoundland, was arrested on charges of retail theft and disorderly conduct after she was caught shoplifting on Dec. 21 at 10:26 p.m. at the WalMart store on Rt. 940 in Mount Pocono.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police said the woman attempted to take $180.27 worth of assorted items from the store. She had her four-year-old son with her at the time, police said.

Police said the woman was uncooperative with authorities while in custody, resulting in the disorderly conduct charge.
