Free H1N1 vaccine clinics slated for Jan. 8 and 9

Free public health clinics on Jan. 8 and 9, for all Pennsylvanians have been announced by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. The clinics, which will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., will offer free H1N1 flu vaccines to anyone who would like to get vaccinated.

There are a total of 33 sites across the state that have been chosen as clinic sites. Locations around the Lehigh Valley and Scranton areas include: Berks County Agricultural Center, Leesport; Northampton Community College, Monroe Campus, Tannersville; Northampton Community College, Main Campus, Bethlehem; East Stroudsburg High School North, Dingman's Ferry; Marywood University, Scranton; Schuylkill Mall, Community Room, Frackville; Pennsylvania Expo Center, Allentown; and Kingston Armory, Kingston.

Anyone wishing to get vaccinated must schedule an appointment prior to the clinic.

Appointments can be made at www.H1N1inPA.com under "What's Hot," 24 hours a day, or call 1-877-PA HEALTH (1-877-724-3258) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lines are limited.
