New mayor in Palmerton

Brad M. Doll was sworn in Wednesday by District Judge Bruce Appleton as mayor of Palmerton. Doll, a Democrat and former councilman, ran unopposed for the office. He replaces Peter Delich Sr., who served as mayor for more than two decades.
