Avoiding climactic disaster

Dear Editor:

Since my childhood, the climate is, without any doubt, changing for the worse.

I conclude the cause is global warming. Avoiding complete climactic disaster ought to take higher priority than any other issue to the U.S. government.

I will support efforts to defeat politicians who either deny climate change or who take campaign contributions from the oil and coal lobbies to vote against doing something about climate change (such as expediting programs to build power plants based on renewable energy).
