Shooting incident
Tyler W. Sutton, 2155 Little Gap Rd., Palmerton, filed a civil complaint against Jamie Freeby, 385 Main St., Box 34, Parryville, and Palmerton Rod & Gun Club, 245 Gun Club Rd., Box 11, Palmerton.
The suit states on Oct. 27, 2007, Freeby was hunting with Sutton and others on property owned by the gun club. Freeby, the suit states, had the permission of the gun club to hunt on its property. On the date Freeby allegedly discharged a shotgun striking Sutton which caused 39 puncture wounds to his head and upper torso causing serious and permanent injuries described in the suit.
Negligence for the shooting is alleged against the defendants and sought are damages in excess of $50,000 against each defendant.

Auto crash suit

The suit states on Nov. 1, 2007, a automobile accident occurred along Route 24 ramp towards Lehighton. A vehicle driven by Gustafson, and owned by Architectural Polymers, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by the plaintiff. Negligence is alleged for damages and injuries sustained and detailed in the suit. Sought is damages in excess of $50,000.
