Jim and Carol Connely of Tamaqua, announce the engagement of their daughter, Cathy Connely, to Adam Quade.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and a 2008 graduate of Kutztown University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree with a concentration in microbiology, molecular, and cellular biology. She is employed with Merck and Company Inc.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Rick and Eileen Quade of Franconia. He is a 2003 graduate of Kutztown University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, majoring in marketing. He is currently employed as the vice president of Quade Homes.
A fall 2010 wedding is planned.
