Palmerton historical society to meet

The Palmerton Area Historical Society will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, in the Knight's Gallery of the Palmerton Area Library. The Revolutionary War troops crossing the Delaware River Christmas night 1776, was destined to become one of the most significant events in the history of our country. Society member, Betsy Burnhauser will present the story and accompanying video "Washington Crossing the Delaware." The program will follow the business meeting.
