Driver is charged in Schuylkill Co.

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said Robert W. Conrad, 47, of Wernersville, was cited after a traffic accident Oct. 31 at 11:13 a.m. at the intersection of State Route 183 and Blue Mountain Road in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County.

Police said he was driving a 1983 Chevrolet Silverado notthbound on Rt. 183 and failed to stop in time, striking a 1996 Ford Windstar driven by Jacqueline T. Haller, 56, of Shartlesville. The latter was also northbound on Rt. 183 and was stopped while attempting to turn left onto Blue Mountain Road.

No one was injured in the mishap.
