Philly man taken into custody

Pocono Mountain Regional Police report that a traffic stop Thursday at 2:08 p.m. on Rt. 196 in Tobyhanna resulted in a Philadelphia man being taken into custody on an outstanding warrant against hime.

Police said they stopped a Jeep Cherokee that had an expired inspection sticker on it as it was traveling south on Rt. 196 ar Green Road. Police learned the driver, Clyde Dodds, 51, of Tobyhanna, was wanted on an arrest warrant out of Philadelphia.

The man was detained at the Monroe County Correctional Facility
