Theft of cycle, ATV probed

State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of an all terrain vehicle (ATV) and a motorcycle from a Schuylkill County location.

Troopers said David Carlock, 39, of Havana, Ill., was staying at the Montfort Motel, Center St., Sheppton, East Union Township, when unknown criminals took a 2009 Yanaha XT 250 bike, white, blue and black in color, and a 2006 Honda EX 300 ATV, red in color. The items were removed from the back of a flat bed trailer sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. The trailer was parked in the area of the motel.
