McAdoo woman cited in Tamaqua

A McAdoo woman has been cited by Tamaqua police following an incident on Saturday.

At 3:20 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Tiki Bar, 20 Mauch Chunk St., to deal with an intoxicated and unwanted person. The bar manager described the unwanted person and identified her as Scarlet Roberts. Officers arrived in the area to find Roberts stumbling along the sidewalk, supporting herself on the wall of The Company Store building.

She was taken into custody and later released with a citation for public drunkenness.
