A Tuscarora man has been cited for retail theft by Tamaqua police following a Friday incident at Fegley's Mini Mart on Center St.

Brian R. Kehl, 26, of 117 Walnut St., entered the convenience store at 3:45 a.m. Kehl selected several items and went to the counter to pay for them. He failed to pay for a hoagie he had stuffed in his pocket. When questioned by the clerk Kehl pulled out the hoagie, placed it on the counter and fled, also leaving behind the items he had purchased.
