Both drivers involved in a crash in Schuylkill County will be cited. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the accident occurred about 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, along E. Maple Avenue in Norwegian Township.

Troopers said James C. Livingston, 58, of Camp Hill, was northbound in the parking lot of Tredegar and stopped at a stop sign waiting to turn left onto E. Maple Ave. John M. Nush Jr., 37, of Minersville, was eastbound in Maple. Troopers said Livingston pulled out directly into the path of Nush. Nush applied his brakes and then laid his 2003 Suzuki GSXR600 motorcycle on its left side. The bike continued east and the front struck the drivers' side door of Livingston's 2009 Chevrolet Impala. Both vehicles came to rest at the point of impact.

Nush was injured and taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center East, Pottsville. Livingston was not injured.

Troopers said Livingston was cited for stop and yield signs. Troopers also said Nush would be cited but did not indicate in their report for what violation.
