Coaldale couplewed 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Watkins of Coaldale will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 14.

They were married in Primitive Methodist Church, Seek, by the late Rev. William Edwards.

Mrs. Watkins is the former Dorothy Webb, daughter of the late Lenore and Delmar Gould of Coaldale, and the late Edward and Leona Webb of Fairless Hills. Mr. Watkins is the son of the late Arnold and Sarah Watkins of Coaldale.

The couple has two children: a daughter, Leeann, wife of William Coxe of Tamaqua; and a son, the late Barry D. Watkins.

They also have three grandchildren: Tyler and Brynn Watkins; and Ryan Coxe.

A family dinner will be held in celebration of the occasion.
