While Catholics everywhere celebrated All Saints' Day on Sunday, Nov. 1, the students at Our Lady of the Angels Academy took the time to learn about the lives of various saints that they admire and will strive to be like. The first grade class completed their study on the lives of saints with a saint parade around the school. Each student dressed as a different saint and worked hard to act like that saint throughout the day. They also each shared a fact about their saint so that we could learn even more about the saints. Pictured are: (back row left to right) Jacob Trubilla as St. Nicholas, Corey Rehnert as St. Patrick, Gabriella Greek as St. Therese de Lisieux, Julia Jurick as St. Bernadette, Erika Dubosky and Ava Dolena as St. Elizabeth of Hungary, and Stephen Puza as St. Francis of Assisi. (Middle row left to right) Jacob Shelton as St. Michael, Valerie Dillee as Mother Theresa, Tatianna Zeleniak and Sara Collevechio as St. Anne, and Dylan Rocchetti as St. Christopher. (Front row left to right) Kasey Ansbach as St. Francis of Assisi, Cole McArdle as St. Anthony of Padua, and Ethan Chuma as St. Luke the Evangelist.
