Tamaqua girls soccer champs get parade

The Tamaqua Area High School girls soccer team are District 11 Class AA champions and a parade was held Saturday at 1p.m. (2 hours after the Tamaqua Veterans Day Parade) through the streets of Tamaqua. The girls all sat on the back of Hope'sTowing truck and fire trucks and other emergency vehicles followed. The team was in the Veterans Day Parade as well. The Lady Raiders finished with a record of 19-2, losing to Montoursville in the first round of the PIAA State Playoffs.
