Burglary, theft incidents probed
State police at Lehighton are investigating a burglary and theft incidents.
The break-in occurred at the home of Jeffrey Romansky, 29, of Lot 2, Jungle Road, Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe County. Entry was forcibly made to a garage and the criminals proceeded to remove various power tools including a paint sprayer, miter saw, pressure washer and chainsaw. Total estimated value of the missing items was $2,000. The incident occurred sometime between Nov. 9-12.
Corey Fedor, 30, of 1690 Stagecoach Road West, Palmerton, Towamensing Township, reported someone entered his vehicle parked near his home and removed a Pro Series chainsaw. The chainsaw is white and orange in color and valued at $1,200.
A.J. Shoemaker, 76, of 30 Hatchery Rd., in Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, reported someone entered on his property at removed a used truck radiator along with several boat chocks. They also damaged plywood which was located on the property. The incident occurred sometime between Nov. 9-13.
David G. Boyer, 47, of Haney Rd., Evergreen Lakes, Kunkletown, Polk Township, reported someone removed a 1989 Dodge Caravan with a black Yakama roof rack from his residence. The vehicle is two-tone blue. The incident occurred sometime between Nov. 11-15.
