Irish music concert slated in Jim Thorpe
On Saturday, Nov. 21, from 3 to 5 p.m. a program of Irish music will be offered free to the public at the Dimmick Library annex at 58 Broadway in Jim Thorpe.
Ed Saultz, singer and player of guitar and the bodhran, will be performing traditional and contemporary Irish music, with commentary on the songs and the instruments. Saultz presents a wide range of Irish songs including social ballads, love ballads and rebel songs.
Based in New Jersey, he performs widely in the Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey area.
The Friends of the Dimmick Library are pleased to sponsor this concert, and to welcome the public to this musical event. A sampling of Irish food will follow the program.
