TAHS Marketing class packs food drive items

The Tamaqua Area High School marketing class spent the second phase of its marketing project helping sort food donations and make boxes at the Tamaqua Salvation Army. The first phase resulted in the collection of over 2,800 food donations for the Tamaqua Salvation Army. The class also plans on helping distribute all the donations during the Salvation Army's Thanksgiving distribution, to be held Monday, Nov. 23. Helping out, from left, are seniors Megan Kalbarczyk, Jacob Bumberger, J.J. Hannon, Ray Swartz, Shauna Bannan, Matt Sanchez, and Rachel Krell. Ann Lagowy is the instructor for the marketing class.
