Accident at McDonalds injures several

Several people were injured Monday morning when involved in a crash in the drive thru of the McDonald's Restaurant in the Carbon Plaza Mall. The crash occurred just after 9 a.m. One of the two vehicles involved came to rest in a planter to the rear of the business. Responding was the Mahoning Valley Fire Company. The injured were transported by the Mahoning Valley ambulance to the Lehighton hospital. Mahoning Township police are investigating the incident.
