Driver cited after Schuylkill crash

One of two drivers involved in a crash on Monday, Nov. 23, in Schuylkill County, was cited.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Ann M. Whiteash, 68, of Minersville, wsa driving a 2006 Hyundai northbound on SR61 about 4:18 p.m. at the entrance to the Cressona Mall. Troopers said Whiteash attempted to turn left into the mall and pulled in front of a southbound 2009 Toyota Sienna driven by Michael B. Deturck, 55, of Reading.

No one was injured in the crash. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

Troopers cited Whiteash for vehicle turning left.
