Four facing DUI count in Schuylkill

Four drivers are facing driving under the influence (DUI) charges following incidents in Schuylkill County over the past weekend.

State police at Frackville said David C. Zimmerman, 28, of Shenandoah, was stopped about 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, along SR54 at Stadium Road, in Shenandoah, while operating a all terrain vehicle (ATV). He was found to be under the influence and a breath test revealed he was over the legal limit of .08 percent. Charges will be filed, troopers said.

At 12:30 a.m on Saturday Justin T. Reinhart, 20, of Frackville, was stopped for a traffic violation along SR924 at Cherry St., in Shenandoah. He was found to be under the influence and taken to the barracks for a breath test, which revealed he was over the legal limit. Troopers said he will be charged.

At 2:10 a.m. on Saturday Kristin Brady, 23, of Pottsville, was stopped for a traffic violation along SR209 at Trolley Road, in Blythe Township. She showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests. The DUI charge is pending, troopers said.

On Sunday, Nov. 22, about 2:30 a.m. Sandra O'Brien, 45, of Pottsville, was stopped along W. Schuylkill Avenue at S. Fourth St., in Pottsville, for a equipment violation. She was found to be under the influence and was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville, where she submitted to a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
