Detour for fans attending No. Lehigh football game

Fans attending the Northern Lehigh vs. North Schuylkill football game on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Mahanoy City are asked to observe the following traffic detour when in Mahanoy City. The detour is needed because the town's Christmas program and tree lighting ceremony will be taking place that night.

When entering the town on Mahanoy City on Route 54 go to the third traffic light and turn left. Go three blocks and turn right. Proceed from there to the high school complex.

There will be signs and uniformed Fire Police officers to help assist the traffic flow.
