Rear-end type crash in Monroe

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a rear-end type crash about 5:50 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23, along Kunkletown Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Louis Nemeth, 74, of Saylorsburg, was driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck when he slowed down to turn right into the driveway of his home. His vehicle was struck in the rear by a Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Edward Foldi, 24, of Kunkletown. Foldi sustained a minor injury to his hand while Nemeth was not injured, troopers said.

Damages were heavy to the front of the Cavalier and minor to the Ford.
