Two ATV riders cited by police
Two all terrain vehicle (ATV) riders were cited following an incident in Nesquehoning.
Borough officer Timothy Wuttke stopped two ATV's on Nov. 17 along SR54 near Industrial Road for driving on the roadway. The operators were identified as Anthony Citrano, of Nesquehoning, and Jason Scheckler, of Lehighton.
On Nov. 21 at 2:56 a.m. Officer Carl Breiner was dispatched to a reported accident in the unit block of E. Catawissa St. At the scene Breiner learned that a vehicle was traveling eastbound and had struck two parked vehicles. The juvenile driver had become distracted when the crash occurred.
Breiner cited the juvenile for driving after 11 p.m. with a junior license.
