Police cite man for passing bad check
A Wilkes-Barre man has been cited by Tamaqua police for passing a bad check.
James Lee Weaver, 46, of 526 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre, reported wrote a check for $353 to the office of District Magistrate Stephen Bayer on Sept. 29. The check was returened due to insufficient funds. Efforts to have Weaver resolve the situation were unsuccessful.
