Summit Hill woman celebrates 100 years

Mary Mustacchio, formerly of Summit Hill and currently a resident of Weatherwood in Weatherly, recently celebrated her 100th birthday.

Mary was born on Nov. 27, 1909 in Mahoning Valley to the late Josephena and John Lutsko of New Columbus. In 1925 she married E. Abbie Mustacchio. They were married for 47 years, until his passing in 1972.

Mary is the mother of seven children: Abbie and his wife Lucille of Lehighton; Cosimo and his wife Loretta of Summit Hill; Joseph and his wife Barbara of Lehighton; Constance, wife of the late Richard Sotak of Lehighton; Sylvia Burns of Hillsborough, N.J.; and the late Michael and Salvador.

She is also the proud grandmother of 13; great-grandmother of 27; and great-great-grandmother of one.
