Five face theft charges in Mahoning

The following individuals have received citations from Mahoning Township police for retail theft offenses occurring at Walmart, 1204 Blakeslee Blvd. East, Mahoning Township:

• Kristopher Lee Eckart, 23, of the 2300 block of E. Lizard Creek Road Lehighton, was cited at about 8:30 p.m. on Sept 21. He allegedly had $42.32 worth of merchandise.

• Kenneth Lucas, 18, from the 100 block of S. Second St., Lehighton, and a 17-year-old male were cited for allegedly taking $32.62 worth of merchandise on Sept. 21 at 3:58 p.m.

• Ryan E. Wurst, 22, of Hopi Road, Jim Thorpe, was cited on Sept. 26 at about 8:40 p.m., allegedly with $22.76 worth of merchandise.

• Darnell L. Thomas, 55, from the 200 block of Cherry St. Slatington, allegedly had $17.47 worth of merchandise and was cited on Sept. 29 at 1:17 p.m.
