Tamaqua Market Street demolition

A condemned home on Market Street in Tamaqua came down this week. Demolition workers from Grinnell Construction, in Sparta N.J., spent Monday to Wednesday demolishing and hauling away the remains of 23 Market St. Last Monday the Tamaqua Fire Department held their Rapid Intervention Team drill training at the residence. Neighbors say they are very happy that this long-time visible eyesore has been finally torn down.
