Theft of tires, rims probed in Tamaqua

Tamaqua police are investigating the theft of tires and rims taken from a porch at 121 Pine St.

Luis Sotomayer reported the theft at 7:30 a.m. Friday. Three tires with rims, as well as two additional rims, were removed from the porch sometime overnight. Total value is estimated at $800.
