October 3, 1964 Lehighton rushes for 334 yards and uses a pair of second-half touchdowns to post a 20-7 Lehigh Valley League win over Slatington. Randy Rex leads the Indians' attack with 136 yards, 68 of them coming on a TD run. Gene Semanoff also contributes 130 yards, including a 66-yard scoring run. Lehighton's other tally comes on a three-yard run from Keith "Jake" Boyer, who finishes the contest with 62 yards rushing.
