Traffic stop leads to DUI arrest

A Schuylkill County traffic stop has led to the driver facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).

State police at Frackville said Michelle Marie Miller, 37, of Shenandoah, was stopped at Main and Lloyd sts., in Shenandoah, about 2:40 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3, while driving without headlights on her vehicle.

She was found to be under the influence and was unable to perform field sobriety tests due to a prior medical condition. She transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville, where she submitted to a blood test.

The DUI charge is pending the test results.
