Oct. 6, 1955: Bright's, Lehighton, have reconstructed a Gnaden Huetten massacre scene in a display window in the men's store and the scene is attracting the interest and attention of passers-by. The massacre effect is being featured to coincide with the bi-centennial observance of the original massacre. Authentic costumes of the period are used in the scene, which was the work of Earl Haas of Allentown.
