All night party
The parents and guardians of the Panther Valley Class of 2010 are invited to a meeting to plan the All Nigh Party in the PVHS library on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.
PV Golden Agers
The meeting of the Panther Valley Golden Agers was held Sept. 28 at St. Joseph Hall in Summit Hill. President Ronnie Bazik conducted the meeting.
Hospitality committee will remain the same for the month of October. The Group Sing-a-long was led by Alex Shereba. Shirley Pavlick, vice president, reports that cards will be sent to those on the sick list.
New member Irene Breslin Genther was introduced and welcomed to the club.
The new meeting will be Monday, Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. Members celebrating birthdays in October and November will be honored.
Anyone 55 and older are encouraged to join.
Nesquehoning
Conservation club
The next meeting of the Nesquehoning Conservation Club will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Maple Shade Meadows ALC.
Lions meeting
The Nesquehoning Lions Club will hold a meeting on Monday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. Please note that the meetings have been changed back to Mondays.
President Carl Andreas will preside. Scott Dudley will be the guest speaker on "Leader Dogs."
Lions Calendars are ready and new members are always welcome to join.
NCFC auxiliary
There will be a meting of the New Columbus Fire Company Auxiliary on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. at the fire station with Gerry McConnon presiding.
Serving on hospitality will be Linda Hunsicker, Minnie Kennedy and Gloria Oliveria.
