Tamaqua Chamber awards television

The Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce received a donation of a 19-inch Emerson LCD high definition flat screen television from Dickson City Hyundai for its annual golf tournament, held Sept. 25 at Villas Crossing Golf Course, South Tamaqua. The chamber's golf committee decided to award the TV to one of its tournament's major sponsors as a way to thank them for their support. In a random drawing, the winner was Ann Ostergaard of Heisler's Dairy Bar, Lewistown Valley. Participating in the presentation were, from left, golf committee members Serge Chrush, Linda Yulanavage, Maureen Donovan, Ostergaard (with TV set), Susan Fegley and Gar Thomas. Jeffrey Bowe was also a member of the committee.
